An e-commerce billionaire has a new title.

Forbes crowning a new billionaire in their ranking of the 400 Richest Americans: Amazon’s CEO and Founder Jeff Bezos topping Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, who was number one on the list for 24 years.
Bezos’ net worth is $160 billion, up from over 81 billion a year ago, which marks the first time ever that a Forbes 400 member has appeared in the ranks as a centibillionaire.
Gates is now No. 2 on the list with Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett. Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison holding onto the next three spots. The richest American women is Alice Walton, heiress to the Walmart fortune, worth around $45 billion.
