President Trump says he wants to hear from the woman who has accused US Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her more than 30 years ago.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Speaking to reporters before boarding Marine 1, President Trump said he hopes Christine Blasey Ford comes to Washington on Monday to speak to the Senate Judiciary Committee:

(President Trump) “If she shows up that would be wonderful. If she doesn’t show up, that would be unfortunate.”

The President again blasted Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein for not speaking up when she first heard of the allegation in July. Calling Judge Kavanaugh is an “extraordinary man”, President Trump said Ford’s accusation has been tough for the judge and his family.
