President Donald Trump stands by his Supreme Court nominee amid allegations of sexual assault.

The President expressing empathy for his Supreme Court nominee, who has been accused of committing a sexually assault while in high school more than 35 years ago:
(President Trump): “I feel so badly for him that he’s going through this. I feel so badly for him. This is not a man that deserves this.”
Democratic Senators on the Judiciary Committee calling for more witnesses for Monday’s scheduled hearing and more time for the FBI to dig into the allegations.
President Trump says he doesn’t think the FBI needs to get involved and continues to show strong support for Kavanaugh, who has steadfastly denied the allegations against him.
