Larry Sabato, Director of the UVA Center for Politics and author of “The Kennedy Half Century”, joined The Brian Kilmeade Show today to discuss the blow-back President Trump received after his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday.
Sabato said, “I wish had prepared more thoroughly for that encounter with President Putin because it was pretty obvious that Putin had prepared down to the fine-grain, and I don’t think that President Trump had.” He continued, “I think he wanted to have a conversation with Putin, and probably did. We don’t know what they said privately, I think that was a mistake. I wish we had had at least a note taker in there.”
