President Trump sounded positive on finding a fix for DACA, an expiring program that protects those brought here illegally as children from deportation:

(President Trump) "We have something in common we'd like to see this get done."

But he said any deal should include the border wall, and the end of the chain immigration and diversity lottery programs:

(President Trump) "I'm appealing to everyone in the room to put country before party and to sit down and negotiate and see if we can get something done."

The President also calling for a permanent spending bill, rather than another short term fix, before funding runs out next week.
