Joe Arpaio: I want to Support our President and his Agenda

A former Sheriff and major Trump supporter says he’s running for a soon-to-be vacant Senate seat in his home state.

    FOX’s Jessica Rosenthal reports:

Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio says he’s running for the soon-to-be vacant seat occupied by Republican Jeff Flake. Flake says he is not running for re-election. Arpaio spoke to the ‘Todd Starnes Show’ on FOX News Talk:

(Arpaio) “Well I want to give back to people of Arizona and support our President Trump on his agenda’s, his policies.”

After 24 years as sheriff the 85-year-old lost the last election. Last year he was found in criminal contempt for purposely ignoring a judge’s order to stop targeting immigrants during patrols, but President Trump later pardoned him.
