President Trump: My Relationship with Mitch McConnell “Is Outstanding”
President Trump and the Republican Senate leader are showing a unified front ahead of a major tax reform push.

President Trump says he and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell are on the same page and closer now than ever before:
(President Trump) “My relationship with this gentlemen is outstanding. Has been outstanding.”
The President and Senate Leader at an impromptu news conference in the White House Rose Garden after lunch together to discuss the Fall legislative agenda:
(McConnell) “Contrary to what some of you may have reported, we’re together totally.”
Still, President Trump has been openly critical of McConnell’s leadership after failed attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
