Eric Church pays tribute to the victims of the Las Vegas massacre.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

Country star Eric Church playing at the Grand Ole Opry struggled to hold back tears as the singer payed tribute to those who’s lives were taken in such a horrific way at a mass shooting at the Route 91 Country Festival in Las Vegas:

(Church) “Those were my people, those were my fans.”

Church found out that one of the fans came there specifically to see him. Sonny Moulton and his wife were also supposed to be at the Opry. He left their seats open, Sonny was one of the victims.

Church performed the song he wrote in tribute titled ‘Why Not Me’:

(Church) “Why you from Tennessee did life capture? And me from Tennessee get away?”
