Rex Tillerson Dismisses Report of Friction with President Trump
The State Department pushing back against reports of friction with the President.
FOX’s Jon Decker at the White House:
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson adamantly denied that he considered resigning, criticizing an NBC News report that also claimed Tillerson called President Trump “a moron”:
(Tillerson) “While I’m new to Washington, I have learned that there are some who try to sow dissension to advance their own agenda by tearing others apart in an effort to undermine President Trump’s own agenda.”
Moments after Tillerson spoke at the State Department, the President tweeted, “the @NBCNews story has just been totally refuted by Sec. Tillerson and @VP Pence. It is #FakeNews. They should issue an apology to AMERICA!”
NBC says the network stands by its reporting.

NBC news is #FakeNews and more dishonest than even CNN. They are a disgrace to good reporting. No wonder their news ratings are way down!
