Confronting Racism: Protesters Rally in St. Louis

A different kind of rally to confront racism in Missouri Thursday night.

FOX’s Jill Nado has that story:

It was called the “White Allies Only” rally in Saint Louis with hundreds of mostly white people coming out to show their anger over the acquittal of white former police officer Jason Stockley for the killing of a black man. Organizers saying they want to show the world that some white people believe black lives matter.

They marched to Busch Stadium where about 50,000 people attended a Billy Joel concert. Police stood by in riot gear, but there were no confrontations.

Protests have been shaking the city since last week’s ruling in the 2011 shooting death of black motorist Anthony Lamar Smith.
