A monumental effort is underway to help hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico.

FOX's Eben Brown reports:

Food, water, clean clothing, gasoline, batteries, not to mention hardware and heavy machinery will all be needed in Puerto Rico. Aircrafts have already started arriving. Disaster charity Samaritans Purse is flying their plane all around the Caribbean to deliver items. Spokesman Matt Keen is in Antigua:

(Keen) "Plastic Tarpaulins, and also some hygiene kits. And some things that will help, some non-food items that will help right off the bat."

Meanwhile deaths are reported around Puerto Rico, including some from flooding and mudslides.
