No DACA Deal Just Yet

President Trump is signaling support for DREAMers, but is not backing down from his proposed border wall.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

There’s not a deal, but a framework on combining new border enforcement with a plan to protect 800,000 young immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children from deportation:

(Schumer) “So there’s still much to be done. We have to put meat to the bones of the agreement.”

But Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer says the President agreed to not include a border wall in the DACA solution. President Trump says he is not backing away from a wall, insisting it be part of broader immigration reform:

(Brat) “We need to slow it all down. There was a deal then there’s not a deal.”

Virginia Republican Dave Brat says any future agreement must still win support in the House and Senate.
