Tiger Shot & Killed While Wandering Around an Atlanta Neighborhood
A police shooting in Georgia takes out a dangerous predator.
FOX’s Dave Anthony reports:
Drama earlier Wednesday morning on I-75, south of Atlanta:
(Smith) “We received a couple 911 calls that there was a tiger in the area.”
And then police found it after 6 a.m. lurking in a nearby neighborhood hoping to just track the big cat until animal control could subdue it…
(Smith) “Unfortunately the tiger did jump the fence in the back residence here and attacked an animal.”
That’s when Henry County Police Captain Joey Smith says officers shot and killed the tiger. The dog it attacked survived.
