Red Balloons Sighted in PA Ahead of ‘IT’ Movie

Police are expecting more creepy clown sightings with the upcoming release of a new horror movie.

FOX’s Jane Metzler reports cops already issued a warning in one community:

Red balloons tied to sewer grates, the calling card of a creepy clown character named Pennywise that eats children…

‘IT’ the name of a horror film out Friday based on the 1986 Stephen King novel. In Littitz, Pennsylvania a prankster has been tying red balloons to sewer grates around town with police there suggesting they knock ‘IT’ off, noting officers were “completely terrified” removing the balloons.

Another indication that the social media post wasn’t exactly serious. It ended with the book’s most famous line… ”You’ll float too.”
