Taylor Swift Dethrones ‘Despacito’

What ever that person made Taylor Swift do, it was to her benefit.

    FOX’S Michelle Pollino reports:

Taylor Swift’s latest hit ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ has knocked another hit off its throne, pushing the song ‘Despacito’ off the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart after 16 weeks and just shy of breaking Mariah Carey’s record.

Billboard says Swift’s hit is her fifth chart topper on Billboard’s Hot 100. ‘Despacito,’ the big summer smash by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee tied Carey’s duet with Boyz II Men ‘One Sweet Day’ as the longest running No. 1 songs in the 59-year history of the charts.

Swift also set her own record. “Look” her latest from ‘Reputation,” broke a weekly streaming record for a song by a woman with 84.4 million U.S. streams, according to Nielsen Music.
