Hurricane Irma’s Path is Still Uncertain

Hurricane Irma continues to trek westerly through the Atlantic and many forecast models suggest a collision someone where on the U.S. eastern seaboard.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:

A hurricane watch is now posted for the leeward islands as Hurricane Irma will impact them perhaps early tomorrow. Irma is now a category three storm with winds holding at a 120-miles an hour.

Irma’s long term path is still uncertain. Officials predictions from the National Hurricane Center show a general movement toward a the southeast U.S. coast but these forecasts can and likely will change.

However the U.S. coast guard is already telling large vessels to find ports elsewhere besides the U.S. virgin islands or Puerto Rico.
