The Pope Speaks on the Environment
The Pope and the spiritual leader of the Orthodox Christian church blaming moral decay for the state of the planet.

In a joint statement, Pope Francis and Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew, appealing to political leaders to “support the consensus of the world,” and help heal a wounded creation.
The leaders saying the planet is deteriorating and blaming what they call moral decay and greed for wide reaching problems which most seriously affect the world’s poorest people.
We urgently appeal, the message says, to those in positions of responsibility to hear the cry of the earth.
