Remembering Princess Diana 20 Years Later

It’s 20 years to the day since Princess Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris. Tributes are being paid in Britain.

FOX’s Simon Owen reports from London:

It’s not the sea of flowers that was laid at the gates of Kensington Palace immediately after Diana’s death, but a few dozen bouquets have been placed outside the Princess’s former home:

(Hartnoll) “She was unique and she was a real people’s Princess.”

20 years later, memories of Diana remain vivid for supporters, like Sue Hartnoll, who traveled to London for Diana’s funeral:

(Hartnoll) “We were here from 11 o’clock the night before, so we could get a really good view of the procession as she passed by. Wouldn’t do it again. We just did it for her.”
