President Trump’s Policy for Transgender Service Members

The Pentagon will get marching orders on President Trump’s transgender policy.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

A White House memo instructs the Pentagon to stop admitting transgender people and to look at”deployability” when considering whether transgender service members should be discharged.

The guidance also directs the military to stop spending money on sexual reassignment surgeries and other medical treatments.

Defense Secretary James Mattis will have six months to fully implement the transgender policy, which was announced on the President’s Twitter page last month.
