The Secret Service is running low on money due to increased demands.

FOX's Tom Graham explains:

The expensive protection for President Trump and his family is putting a funding crunch on the Secret Service. USA Today reports the agency could now no longer afford to pay hundreds of agents. However, in a statement to FOX News, the service reports funding, and overtime payments for agents is an ongoing problem and has been for nearly a decade.

Meantime, the 2016 presidential election did put a strain on the Secret Service's budget and the President's travel to his multiple resorts in Florida, New Jersey and Virginia have stretched agents particularly thin. An estimated 1100 employees are expected to work overtime hours in excess of statutory pay caps this year.
