President Trump Calls Lindsey Graham a “Publicity Seeker”
President Trump taking to Twitter to express his feelings toward the continued removal of monuments to Confederate leaders.
FOX’s Jon Decker with details from the White House:
During his working vacation, the President taking to Twitter, writing, “Sad to see the history and culture of our great country being ripped apart with the removal of our beautiful statues and monuments. You can’t change history, but you can learn from it,” he wrote.
The President also comparing moves to remove statues of Confederate-era generals to possible efforts to against revolutionary heroes, writing, “Robert E Lee, Stonewall Jackson – who’s next, Washington, Jefferson? So foolish!”
President Trump also attacking South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, calling him a publicity seeker and Arizona Republican Senator Jeff Flake, calling him toxic.
