The White House Has a New Communications Director

The White House names a replacement for fired communications director Anthony Scaramucci.

FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:

A little over two weeks after Anthony Scaramucci was fired as the Communications Director, the White House confirms that senior White House aide Hope Hicks will take on the role on an interim basis.

In a statement, the White House said that Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and all of the communications team will work with Hicks in delivering the President’s message and that an announcement will be on a permanent communications director at the appropriate time.

Hicks was one of the first employees hired by President Trump when he began his run for the Republican nomination.
