“Both Sides” to Blame for Violence in Charlottesville – President Trump

President Trump blames both sides for violence that broke out amid protests and demonstrations this weekend in Virginia.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more:

There are two sides to a story, President Trump told reporters in a combative Q&A session as Trump Tower:

(President Trump) “The driver of the car is a murderer. And what he did is a horrible, horrible inexcusable thing.”

But, President Trump says not everyone protesting the removal of a statute of Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville, Virginia, is a white nationalist or neo-Nazi:

(President Trump) “I wonder, is it George Washington next week and is it Thomas Jefferson the week after. You really do have to ask yourself ‘where does it stop?”

The President also condemned threats and acts of violence he said were carried out by members of the alt-left.
