Former SNL Star Gets Nailed with 20-Year-Old Parking Ticket
A chorus of jokes after a comedian gets a 20-year-old parking ticket.
FOX’s Krystin Goodwin has the details:
Former Saturday Night Live star Rachel Dratch took to Twitter Wednesday to share a photo of a collections document… A Chicago parking fine from 1997! The star has lived in New York City for decades, but Chicago officials tracked her down.
The second city alum noted Chi-Town doesn’t mess around, saying, “I received this parking ticket in the mail today. Look at date. It’s from 20 years ago.”
Twitter serenaded the comedian with jokes, insight and some words of advice. One tweeting “are you on the lam now?” Another tweeting: “Tell them you want your day in court… And the officer who wrote the ticket needs to be there too!”
There is no statue of limitations on parking tickets in Chicago. A rep for Chicago’s City Hall says Dratch was contacted at least five times before.
