Admiral James Stavridis: It’s Time To Pick A Strategy And Double Down On It

Admiral James Stavridis, Dean of The Fletcher School at Tufts University, Former Supreme Allied Commander at NATO, and author of “Sea Power: The History and Geopolitics of the World’s Oceans” joined Brian Kilmeade to discuss the escalation of events taking place in North Korea. While the Admiral doesn’t have an issue with the Fire and Fury comments made by President Trump he did have a problem with the tone. “This is not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but I’d rather the President be more like Cool Hand Luke. I’d rather see him be rational, cool but deadly. Let’s not forget the big problem is Kim Jong-un, not the President.” The Admiral went on to say that we have all the tools we need right in front of us, “We have a terrific ally in South Korea, so one way to up our intelligence game is to work very closely with them. We have the technology, and with their knowledge of the North that’s the way we can dial up a successful campaign.”
