Special Counsel Mueller Reportedly Impanels Grand Jury in Russia Probe

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has moved the Russia investigation into a new phase.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

A grand jury has been seated impaneled in Washington, the Wall Street Journal reports as part of the investigation into Russian election interference.

The newspaper citing two people familiar with the matter, reports it’s a sign the inquiry is growing in intensity and is likely to continue for months.

A spokesman for Robert Mueller, the Special Counsel leading the investigation, declined to comment. An attorney for President Trump says he isn’t aware Mueller impaneled a grand jury but tells FOX News, “we favor anything that brings this investigation to a swift conclusion.”
