"It is very clear that Anthony (Scaramucci) wanted to give General Kelly the opportunity to bring his own team in in a position which is very critical and I think it's also very clear and I don't know there's been reported or not but obviously Anthony Scaramucci said that he would be more than happy to report to General Kelly ...What General Kelly decided is that he's going to bring in a communication director that he thought would be commensurate with the role there and he's going to probably make additional changes but he's going to make an assessment of what takes place and so Anthony Scaramucci stepped aside to give him the opportunity bring that team in."

--- Corey Lewandowski saying Anthony Scaramucci stepped aside in order to give General Kelly the opportunity to bring in his own team

Corey Lewandowski, former Campaign Manager for President Donald Trump joined Pete Hegseth on The Brian Kilmeade Show top discuss Anthony Scaramucci being removed as White House Director of Communications and new White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly. Corey Lewandowski on Anthony Scaramucci lasting only 10 days as White House communications director

(LEWANDOWSKI)It is very clear that Anthony wanted to give General Kelly the opportunity to bring his own team in in a position which is very critical and I think it's also very clear and I don't know there's been reported or not but obviously Anthony Scaramucci said that he would be more than happy to report to General Kelly and everybody in the building is going to report to General Kelly because he is the chief of staff, he's not the chief of the president he is the chief of the staff and that means that everybody in the building it is going to report to General Kelly. What General Kelly decided is that he's going to bring in a communication director that he thought would be commensurate with the role there and he's going to probably make additional changes but he's going to make an assessment of what takes place and so Anthony Scaramucci stepped aside to give him the opportunity bring that team in.

Corey Lewandowski on who might be the next White House Communications director

(LEWANDOWSKI) You know I don't have any specific names that I could give you but what i could tell you very candidly is that my recommendation would be to find individuals who understand how the president communicates which is directly with the American people through his twitter feed through his social media activity and anybody who thinks they're going to change the present doesn't fundamentally understand the way that he operates. So as there are a other are a Lot of good capable communications people out there i would probably try and find the individual that is not a household name that either has a relationship with the President or understands what their role is and I can promise you this, the role of the communication director is to serve the President and his team by pushing out the messages and the agenda that the President is trying to get out to the American people.

Corey Lewandowski on the future of President Trump's agenda for healthcare and tax reform

(LEWANDOWSKI) I think Obamacare has to be shown and continue to be shown that is going to be a disaster for the American people i don't think we've seen the last of the health care debate. I think the present team is going to go back and look at additional options maybe that is block granting money to the states so that they can be directing that money at the state level and taking these un-elected bureaucrats at the federal government out of health care decisions. Tax reform has to happen three big components which i think could go through fairly quickly would be number one the repatriation of money back into our country that's sitting overseas and you tax that a specific rate so that it helps the economy. Number two you're probably doubling deductions for those in the middle class and giving them some tax relief and number three you have to lower the corporate tax rate from thirty five to something down along I fifteen, maybe you settle on 18.

(Hegseth) Where are we on that?

(LEWANDOWSKI) It's moving forward but let's be clear the members of congress at and the House and the senate have been obstacles many of them have not been on the President's agenda. Many democrats have voted in unanimous decisions to not help him move his agenda or even to so right agenda for the American people and so there has to be a kind ability at the ballot box as well.
