Russia saying hundreds of U.S. diplomats must leave the country in response to new American sanctions.

FOX's Simon Owen reports from the European bureau:

Russian President Vladimir Putin saying the U.S. must cut its embassy and consulate staff in Russia by 755 people.

Putin calling the new sanctions... An unprovoked step towards worsening U.S.-Russia relations. In a TV interview he expressed disappointment, that relations under President Trump remain cool...

He said, we thought something might change for the better. But if the situation is to change, it won't be soon.
