James Cameron’s Focused on “Getting the History Right” about the Titanic

The Titanic will again be in the spotlight come this December.

FOX’s Jacquelyn Karl reports:

Director James Cameron’s joined with National Geographic to make a one hour documentary special about the Titanic in honor of the 20-year anniversary of Cameron’s movie of the same name, according to Entertainment Weekly

(Cameron) “We now know a lot more than we knew in ’95 when we set down that path. It’s time to say this is really what happened to the best of our collective knowledge. Get the history right.”

Cameron saying when he made the movie in ’97, he wanted to get it right out of respect for the people who died.

Now with the latest research and technology, Cameron’s saying he’s going to reassess. “Titanic: 20th Anniversary” airing in December.
