Phil Roe: The Senate Has To Get Healthcare Done And Fully Expects They Will

Congressman Phil Roe, (R-TN) Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs joined Steve Doocy on The Brian Kilmeade Show to discuss what’s next for healthcare. Congressman Roe told us that members of the House began working on this bill long before January of 2016. He continued to say that while he’s disappointed, he believes that political pressure will force the no votes in the Senate into yes votes. “The Senate has to get this done. I met with four senators who all said they were going to get back into the room to get this done.” On the VA, Mr. Roe said he and his committee are working hard to streamline the system which will make it better for all. The Congressman said. “The end game is, of course, to make the VA better and more user-friendly.”
