New York Musician Willie Nile Gets Bob Dylan’s Approval in Latest Record
New York singer-songwriter Willie Nile has been plugging away for quite some time. His first release came back in 1980, following that he went on to open up for The Who and gained recognition around the country. Nile writes from the heart and you hear it in all of his songs. Throughout the years, Nile has built up a loyal following and calls musicians like Bruce Springsteen, Bono and Jackson Browne his friends.
FOX’s Tommy Byrne got a chance to speak with Willie about his latest album ‘Positively Bob,’ which is a compilation of Bob Dylan songs. Nile talks about the first time he saw Dylan perform live, getting the blessing from Dylan himself and more.
