President Trump Calls Out China for Not Putting More Pressure on North Korea
President Trump had a message for China before he took off for his second foreign trip.
FOX’s Jon Decker at the White House has details:
President Trump criticized China on Twitter for failing to do more to pressure North Korea on its nuclear program. He also suggested that he’s re-evaluating the U.S. trade relationship with Beijing.
The tweets from the President came as he departed on a trip to Warsaw, and to Hamburg, Germany, for the G-20 Summit where discussions about how to deal with the North Korean threat will be high on the agenda.
President Trump will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Germany. The President has said that he would never allow North Korea to develop the capability launch an ICBM, but his options for dealing with the threat appear to be limited.
At the White House, Jon Decker, FOX News.
Trade between China and North Korea grew almost 40% in the first quarter. So much for China working with us – but we had to give it a try!
