Mixed Reaction to President Trump’s Tweet of a Doctored Wrestling Video Attacking CNN
There’s a lot of reaction to a new tweet from President Trump. A doctored wrestling video of the President throwing down a man with a CNN logo superimposed on his head.
FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
Republican Senator Ben Sasse told the CNN’s “State of the Union” he understands the President’s frustration with the media, but cautioned:
(Sasse) “The First Amendment is the beating heart of the American experiment. And you don’t get to separate the freedoms that are in there.”
Homeland Security adviser Tom Bossert on ABC’s “This Week”:
(Bossert) “Whatever the content of that particular tweet or any tweet, he’s demonstrated a genuine ability to communicate to the American people.”
Bossert added he doesn’t believe anyone would perceive the video as a threat.
