Michael Tanner: Medicaid Is Everything That Is Wrong With The U.S. Healthcare System
Michael Tanner, senior fellow at the Cato Institute, columnist and author joined Brian Kilmeade to discuss the healthcare bill currently on the Senate floor. Michael thinks this passing this bill is almost worse than doing nothing at all but goes on to say that, “They are going take everything that’s wrong with Obama Care and simply speed up the timetable to crash.” And while he says that we’re not talking about drastic cuts to Medicaid he feel’s, in fact, we should be. Why? “Medicaid is 58 trillion, that’s with a T, dollars in debt going forward. It’s everything that’s wrong with the U.S. healthcare system.”
