President Trump Casts Doubt Over Special Counsel Mueller’s Impartiality
The President is casting doubt over the special counsel’s impartiality as they look into the Trump administration’s possible connection to Russian officials.
FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:
President Trump on FOX & Friends, questioning the objectivity of the legal team that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has assembled to conduct the investigation into allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials:
(President Trump) “I can say that the people that have been hired are all Hillary Clinton supporters, some of them worked for Hillary Clinton.”
The President also also raised concerns about the objectivity of Mueller because of his decades-long friendship with former FBI Director James Comey.
The President still maintains that Mueller is in his words “an honorable man.”
