Robert Mueller’s Future in Jeopardy?
What would happen if President Trump tries to fire Robert Mueller, the special counsel overseeing the Russia probe?
FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein told lawmakers it would be his decision to fire Robert Mueller and that he hasn’t seen any evidence of good cause to do that.
Democratic Senator Joe Manchin asked:
(Manchin) “Could you be terminated without cause? Yes. And who would appoint your replacement as your position now as Deputy Attorney General? The President.”
Questions over Mueller’s future were raised after a longtime friend of the President said he was thinking out getting rid of him.
