Dennis Rodman’s Back in North Korea

Former NBA star Dennis Rodman is back in North Korea and this trip has both a political and a marijuana connection.

Dennis Rodman’s latest trip to North Korea is funded by a website Potcoin.com. It’s like the online currency bitcoin, except it’s used for legal purchases of marijuana where marijuana is legal in the United States and this could be an attempt of the marijuana industry trying to open up some dialogue about pot to the Hermit Kingdom.

In recent years, people who have traveled to North Korea say although marijuana remains illegal in North Korea, the law isn’t really enforced. You can even buy it in open air markets and smoke it openly. Could the marijuana industry help open up the Hermit Kingdom? One has to wonder.
