Jerry Seinfeld is trending on social media after an incident involving Kesha on the red carpet. The comedian was speaking with radio host Tommy McFly for a National Night of Laughter and Song event at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., when the pop star approached:
(Seinfeld) “Cause people are tired most of the time… I’m Kesha, I love you so much… Oh thanks… Can I give you a hug?… No thanks… Please? No thanks… Yeah… No thanks… Ohhh.”
After Kesha walked away dejected, McFly clued Seinfeld into who she was:
(Seinfeld) “I don’t know who that was… (McFly) That was Kesha… (Seinfeld) Oh okay, well I wish her the best.”
