Dylan Scott Discusses ‘My Girl’, Says Rise to Fame “Isn’t an Overnight Success”

Country artist Dylan Scott has wanted to be a musician since 4th grade. His father was a musician that gave it all up after he met his future wife, but Scott was persistent and followed through with his ultimate dream of playing someday in Nashville. Scott idolized Tim McGraw and finally caught a break when he was 19. Now 26, Scott finally has his song ‘My Girl’ on the top country charts and continues to work hard at his craft.

FOX’s Laura Ingle spent “A Few Moments With…” Scott to discuss everything from his current tour, how he wrote ‘My Girl’ and advice he’d give to other musicians trying to catch a break.
