Get Ready for a lot of People Traveling

Memorial Day’s over and time now to start those summer trips.

FOX’s Carmen Roberts on why it may get a bit crowded:

Whether you’re heading out by car or plane, you can take advantage of stable gasoline prices and fuel prices.

Triple A says the average price of gas right now is only 5 cents more than a year ago. A fairly stable economy may also encourage Americans to get away for a while.

And even though airfares are edging up, travelers can still find deals, put it all together and the roads and skies are likely to be busy.

The trade group Airlines for America, says U.S. Airlines expect to carry a record 234 million passengers between now and the end of August, that’s 9 million more than last summer’s record.
