De Niro: The Country Has Turned into a “Tragic Comedy”

Robert De Niro uses his commencement speech to denounce the Trump Administration.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

Comparing today’s politics to movies, Robert De Niro told the graduating class at Brown University that “in movie terms,” the country was once “an inspiring uplifting drama,” but now has turned into a “tragic comedy.”

The two-time Oscar-winning actor spoke the school’s commencement ceremonies Sunday. The actor, no fan of the President as evidenced by this political ad, urging people to vote before Mr. Trump was elected President.

(De Niro) “He’s a punk. He’s a dog. He’s a pig. A mutt who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Doesn’t do his homework.”

De Nrio urged the graduates to “work to stop the insanity” and to strive to make the world better.
