National Security Adviser McMaster Stands Firm: Premise of WAPO Artice “Was False”

White House National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster’s stance has not changed on the Washington Post story claiming President Trump revealed highly classified information.

FOX’s Jon Decker reports from the White House:

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster pushed back on a Washington Post story that claimed President Trump revealed highly classified information concerning ISIS during a meeting with Russian officials:

(McMaster) “The premise of that article was false. That in any way the President had any conversation that was inappropriate or that resulted any lapse in national security.”

McMaster repeatedly defended the President’s conversations as “wholly appropriate” and attacked leakers who revealed the contents of the Oval Office discussions to several media outlets.
