A bizarre fast food pick up takes flight on social media.

FOX's Krystin Goodwin has the details:

Forget the drive-thru, a fly-thru fast food pick up at a McDonald's in Australia is going viral. A video shared on YouTube by Australia's 9 News shows a man landing a helicopter near a McDonald's in Sydney.

The guy is seen hopping out of the aircraft and casually walking into the restaurant to grab a bag of food. Folks watching close by were shocked...

The man was also seen snapping a photo of his chopperĀ before taking off. Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority says the pilot's landing may not have been illegal if he got permission to land on the property before hand.

The agency is investigating.
