Want a Rockin’ Job?… Give the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame a Call

The Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame is hiring!

FOX’s Laura Ingle has the details in this Bonus Track:

Attention Rock and Roll job seekers, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is currently looking for a new librarian to help keep important music artifacts, including books, scores, sound and video recordings, collected and cataloged.

The Hall of Fame is probably better known for their annual selection of new inductees, but the museum also holds a massive and comprehensive librarian archive that is chalk full of memorabilia.

From photo negatives of Aretha Franklin in the studio to Jimi Hendrix’ handwritten ‘Purple Haze’ lyric sheet. All of these special items need a caregiver, which for someone, could be the perfect dream job.

According to the online job description, other duties include creating research guides, giving tours and representing the Rock Hall to the academic and library communities.

And for those about to apply for this rocking job, we salute you.
