Teen Turns Himself In After Tossing 68-Year-Old into Pool

A Florida teenager turns himself in after being seen on a cell phone video tossing an elderly woman into a pool against her will, as she asked the teen and his cohorts to quiet down at a public pool.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:

68-year-old Nancy James entered her community’s public pool area, in North Lauderdale, Florida, only to find about 200 youths making a raucous. But she had no idea that when asking the teens to limit their noise level, one of them would throw her into the water:

“That was really sickening that kids can actually do that. / That is awful. That could have been me.”

She was bruised and frightened. But one of the teens recorded it with his phone and now the boy seen on the video has turned himself in. He’s 16 and charged with battery on a senior citizen.
