Paul McCartney is hitting the New York region for a series of shows.

FOX's Michelle Pollino reports:

You can't keep a good Beatle down. Paul McCartney's hitting the road again. The 74-year-old rocker is bringing his one on one tour to New Jersey and New York City and for the first time ever McCartney will perform at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Sept. 11.

A few days later he hits Madison Square Garden on Sept. 15, then crosses the bridge for a show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Sept. 19, ending his four show northeastern swing at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island on Sept. 26.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. May 5.
