Spicer: Government Shutdown Won’t Happen

A government shutdown could be looming if President Trump doesn’t take his border wall off the table.

FOX’s Jon Decker reports from the White House:

Despite the President’s insistence that any budget deal includes funding for a border Wall with Mexico, something that Democrats strenuously oppose, White House Spokesman Sean Spicer said he’s pretty certain there will not be a government shutdown:

(Spicer) “The work that Director Mulvaney and others have made in this front in these negotiations has been very positive. They feel very confident that won’t happen.”

No agreement would result in a partial government shutdown on Saturday, which is also President Trump’s 100th day in office.
