Navy Puts Their Foot Down on Vaping

The U.S. Navy says no to vaping! Announcing a new ban on electronic cigarette devices on all of their ships and aircraft’s.

    FOX’s Jim MacKay explains:

It’s the same problem we’re seeing here at home, several incidents involving e-cigarette batteries exploding, catching fire and causing injury.

The latest incident in the military was one caught fire inside of an aircraft, forcing an emergency landing. Despite the new ban, Navy sailors on shore can still vape, however they have to do it in designated smoking areas on bases.

Health analysts who don’t think vaping is safe are praising the move, however critics say vaping is a good smoking cessation tool.
