“Bandstand”: Broadway’s “Big Band” Tribute to Veterans

The new Broadway musical “Bandstand” features musician cast members playing big band music. The characters they play are struggling musicians and returning World War Two veterans struggling with some serious issues that strike a chord with veterans who have seen the show so far. FOX’s Jane Metzler talks with lead actors Corey Cott and Laura Osnes about the show and the audience’s response. She also spent some time with Director-Choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler. Nearly a year ago, he was on stage accepting his second Tony Award for “Hamilton.”
