White House Press Sec. Spicer Apologizes Again for Hitler Remark

The White House spokesman says he’s let the President down, apologizing again for comparing the Syrian president to Hitler.

FOX’s Jon Decker reports from the White House:

A day after suggesting that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was guilty of acts worse than Adolph Hitler and asserting that Hitler had not used chemical weapons, White House spokesman Sean Spicer apologized again for his comments that drew outrage from lawmakers and on social media:

(Spicer) “I made a mistake. There’s no other way to say it. I got into a topic that I shouldn’t have. And I screwed up.”

Hitler gassed millions of Jews during the Holocaust. Spicer has expressed contrition in several interviews since making the comments at Tuesday’s press briefing.
